Speaking from experience, I know that reaching out for support can feel like the most daunting step, especially when we're at our most vulnerable. If you're here, you've already shown incredible courage. As an integrative counsellor based in Swindon, I offer a warm, welcoming, and completely confidential space where you can be your true self—entirely. I'm here to really listen, with an open heart.
I'm Tessa, a BACP registered counsellor offering both in-person counselling in Swindon and online therapy. Whether you have a specific challenge you'd like to work through or just feel that something needs to change, we can explore this together, at your pace, in a safe and confidential environment where you'll always feel welcomed and accepted.
Counselling offers you something unique—a relationship where you can bring all parts of yourself, knowing you'll be met with warmth and acceptance. It's different from talking with family or friends because our connection is built solely around supporting you to find your own way forward. I don't just listen; I really listen, holding what you bring with respect and understanding. Here, you'll find a space where every part of you is welcomed.
We begin with an initial conversation where you can share what brings you here, and we can explore how we might work together. I practice integrative counselling, which means I draw from various therapeutic approaches to suit your individual needs—you're at the core of how we work together. Some people find a few sessions helpful, while others prefer longer-term support. What matters is that we work collaboratively, at your pace, with no rush or pressure.
Through my years of practice in Swindon, I've had the privilege of supporting people through many of life's challenges. This includes supporting those experiencing anxiety and depression, working with addiction and recovery, and being present through experiences of trauma, bereavement, and relationship difficulties. I also support those navigating work-related stress, self-esteem challenges, and life transitions. Whatever you bring, I offer a space where you can be truly accepted for your whole self, with all your parts welcome.
If you're considering counselling in Swindon or online therapy, I'm here for you from that very first step. We can have an initial conversation—there's no obligation, and we can discuss any questions you have about starting your therapeutic journey.
